America’s wealthiest taxpayers couldn’t be happier. The top 2% got their Bush tax cuts extended for at least two more years AND got an even better deal on their estate taxes, getting the first $10 million tax free, and only 35% after that.  All that with Democrats in charge of the executive branch and both houses of Congress. The rich must be licking their chops at what they will be getting now, with Republicans having a stronger presence  in Congress.  I guess the federal deficit isn’t so important anymore. In fairness, we must note that the middle class received a few crumbs.
